Two-hour photo shoot in ONE amazing location
Our photoshoot took place in the dead of winter, but of course, as these photos prove, you don’t need pretty flowers and leaves on the trees to get the job done well.
Location: The historic artist’s studios of 1330 Quincy NE Minneapolis.

Meet Ciara, a kind-hearted senior who told me she “didn’t know how to pose, at all!” A few minutes of shooting and directing and she was a total natural.

The Technical
For this shoot I used flash and a strobe once, but other than that, as you can see, this location provided beautiful natural light and soft but dramatic shadows. I was using my 50mm Sigma Art lens (which I use for everything) and a Tamron 24-70mm lens.
